What is Damson & Wilde?
We’re a brasserie and bar in the historic heart of Bury St Edmunds.
Taking inspiration from the grand European brasseries, we’re open from 12 noon every day for drinks, snacks and all day dining with a focus on great hospitality in a stunning setting with a relaxed social vibe.
Our chefs prepare classic European dishes from scratch using seasonal British ingredients. Our drinks menu is centred around wines from Europe, locally brewed Brewshed beers, classic cocktails and locally roasted Crude coffee.

We're part of the independent Gusto Pronto family who are based in and around Bury St Edmunds with five pubs, craft brewery Brewshed and wine shop Vino Gusto.
Our beautiful building was originally built by John Corder for The Sun Alliance Assurance Company in 1891 and first became a hospitality venue when Café Rouge opened in Bury St Edmunds in the 1990’s.
